The Settlements Engagement and Transition Support Project (SETS) in partnership with NSW Health Western Sydney Local Health District continued their series of information sessions on health awareness.
On Monday 20 November 2023, an information session in Arabic was held at St Mary Mount Pritchard’s Hall. The session discussed the topic : Healthy Life Free from Cancer. The participants were Newly Arrived Refugees and Migrants in South West Area.
The session discussed how important to eat and drink healthy food and how important to walk daily and do regular exercises. Also, regular doctor’s check is very important.
The Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese would like to thank NSW Health Western Sydney Local Health District for their support and assistance in providing such great information about health to our newly arrived Refugees and migrants.
More information sessions will follow in the near future.
