With the blessing and under the patronage of His Eminence, Metropolitan Basilios of Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines, the faithful clergy of the Archdiocese gathered for the Annual Clergy Symposium from Wednesday the 11th to Friday the 13th of May 2022, at St Michael’s Monastery, Antiochian Village, Goulburn NSW.
This year was extra special due to the fact that the clergy hadn’t been able to meet in person for some time due to the pandemic. Thus, it was a joyous occasion, for clergy in attendance from all across the Archdiocese with apologies from some of them because of health issues.
Over the few days, the clergy prayed together and discussed many topics with pastoral concerns affecting their ministry. His Eminence ended the Symposium by offering some guidance and words of encouragement to all, which were received with great thanks.
The clergy look forward to the next Symposium and ask for the continued prayers of all the beloved faithful of our God-protected Archdiocese.
