On Saturday 20th October, under the patronage of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios, the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese celebrated the 4th Anniversary of the Consecration of the St Michael Monastery (Antiochian Village) in Goulburn.

The celebration began with a Matins service in the Chapel of St. Anna, presided over by His Eminence, followed by a procession and outdoor Hierarchical Divine Liturgy.

It was a blessed day with an amazing number of clergy and laity in attendance from across our NSW parishes and even a bus-load of parishioners from St. Nicholas Church, East Melbourne.

After the liturgy, the attendants witnessed a remarkable procession lead by His Eminence and the Australian Orthodox Stewards, followed by lunch and activities for our children.

The day was filled with a family friendly environment, people gathered around and conversed with one another, whilst the young kids enjoyed playing some organised sporting activities.

The Archdiocese sincerely thanks all the clergy and volunteers whose hard work and dedication made this day possible.
