‘For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.’ (Matthew 18:20)
Under the patronage of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios, families from the parish of St Paul, Dandenong, gathered for a 5 day family camp in St Michael’s Monastery in Goulburn, NSW.
For the second year in a row it was a fruitful and blessed experience. The theme for the weekend focused on inviting Christ into our daily life.
Through presentations and practical activities on iconography, chanting, worship and an open discussion with His Eminence, the 70+ participants expanded their understanding of Orthopraxia to equip them for a better Christian way of life.
The camp would not be complete without the much anticipated family talent show where every family showcased their unique gifts. Singing, dancing, ballet and even synchronized swimming, it was an unforgettable experience.
Undoubtedly it was a nourishing camp for the families and we anticipate Family Camp 2019.
