Celebrating 20 years since the inception of the parish of St Paul’s in Dandenong, the parishioners were treated to an experience presented by the Antiochian Arabic Academy and the Sunday School students of the parish.

Being the first year of AAA, three junior classes presented a variety of performances in Arabic to the congregation. The junior class sang a song about Jesus in their hearts, the second class chanted the troparion of the Nativity and the senior class narrated the story of the Nativity and closed with a joyful Arabic Christmas Carol.

The Sunday School outdid themselves this year setting up the two-level community centre with an exhibition dedicated to the life of the Holy Apostle Paul, our patron saint. Starting with a model of a house Church and baptistry, the parishioners were taken on a journey through the missionary journeys, the disciples of St paul and his writings. Every room was embellished with the artwork and research of the students who educated the visitors on their project.

It was a blessed day for the parish, celebrating 20 years of service and seeing the fruits of their labours in the generations to come. May the parish be guided by the life, teachings and through the prayers of the Holy Apostle Paul.
