On the first weekend of July, His Eminence, Metropolitan Basilios travelled to Brisbane to visit his flock.
His Eminence began his visit by spending a meaningful Saturday morning with the youth, where he engaged in an open discussion, emphasising the importance of understanding and living our Orthodox faith. This was followed by lunch together.
In the evening, His Eminence met with the Saint Paul’s committee, before presiding over the Vespers service, followed by supper together.
On Sunday morning, His Eminence presided over the Matins and Divine Liturgy services at Saint Paul’s, which was followed by a celebration of the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul.
