On Sunday the 21st of May, the Sunday of the Blind Man, His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios presided over the Divine Liturgy at Saint Mary’s Mount Pritchard. Assisting him in the Liturgy were Archimandrite Ephram Abbassi and parish priest Fr. Isaac Zghaib.
As part of St Mary’s monthly Life in Christ series, His Eminence gave a talk entitled “Being Orthodox in a non-Orthodox Climate”. His Eminence stressed that we live as true Orthodox Christians within our own communities. He spoke on the preservation of our unique Christian culture, encouraging us to live the Orthodox faith with meekness, humility and love, being examples in the world.
We thank His Eminence for blessing us with his wisdom and experience and for always encouraging the youth and young adults of the Archdiocese to be steadfast in the Orthodox Christian way of life.
Christ is Risen!
