Christ is Risen!
After celebrating the great feasts of feasts, the annual committee’s dinner was held at St Paul’s Community Center to celebrate and acknowledge the season and year that passed. The dinner held on Friday the 28th of April, was an opportunity to reflect as a family, on the growth and developments within the parish and to contemplate on the dynamic nature of the Church to cater for the needs of tomorrow.
Fr Jean meditated on the hospitality of Abraham and set the theme, ‘love of strangers’, for the year ahead. He outlined how Abraham in his hospitality served angels unknowingly, and how our service in the Church and in the community should reflect the hospitality of Abraham and as the holy Apostle Paul taught, ‘do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels’ (Hebrews 13:2).
We look forward to the year ahead through the prayers of the Holy Apostle Paul.
