With a cordial spirit, His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios visited the office of the Premier of NSW, Hon. Dominic Perrottet, on the 7th of December 2022 to wish him a blessed Nativity.
Warmly welcomed by the Premier, His Eminence updated him on the progress of the St Nicholas Senior Care Facility in Punchbowl, as well as the Antiochian Orthodox Community in NSW in general.
During the discussion, His Eminence also expressed his best wishes to the Premier in his duties and responsibilities and invited him to the Centenary Celebration of St. George Cathedral in Redfern in May 2023.
The Premier was enthused by the news regarding the Antiochian community and expressed his interest to visit in the near future.
