On Wednesday 21st September 2022, H.E. Metropolitan Basilios attended the Memorial service for her late majesty Queen Elizabeth II, at St. Andrew Cathedral.
Her Excellency the Hon. Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of NSW, the Hon. Tony Burke MP, Archbishops, bishops, and dignitaries have paid their respect and love for the late Queen.
His Eminence had sent a letter of condolence to His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia on behalf of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese and community.
