On the evening of the 28th of August 2022, the commemoration was held in remembrance of the beheading of St. John, the Baptist, and Forerunner of Christ.
A Vespers service was led, presided over by his Eminence Metropolitan Basilios and in attendance were clergy from the many different parishes of New South Wales.
Following the solemn service, a fellowship was organised for the clergy and parishioners.
