“With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios, The Australian Byzantine Music School (ABMS) held an all-day Bootcamp in Byzantine music for its year 2 students on Saturday 9 July at Saint Mary’s Mount Pritchard, NSW.
The main aim of the Bootcamp was to assist students in mastering theory and practical applications covered since the start of the year.
The program also included a session on vocal training and breathing techniques, which was delivered by the Vocal Coach Mrs Bernadette Wehbe.
Although it was a cold winter’s day, a warm and encouraging atmosphere was felt throughout the day as the students and teachers socialized and came together as one family. The students also enjoyed meals and refreshments along with recreational activities.
