The Antiochian Welfare Association (AWA) has established the Antiochian Folkloric Group for young people between 10-14 years old. This group started in January 2022 and was training every Friday at the Antiochian Youth Centre in Punchbowl by a professional instructor.
On Saturday 11 June 2022, the Antiochian Folkloric Group performed its first performance at Bryan Brown Theatre at Bankstown, in partnership with The Cedar’s of Lebanon Folkloric Group.
AWA would like to thank the Cedar’s of Lebanon Folkloric Group for this opportunity and the Canterbury Bankstown Council for their support.
