On Saturday the 2nd of April 2022, the Antiochian Welfare Association (AWA) held its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Antiochian Youth Centre in Punchbowl. The 2020-21 AWA Annual Report was distributed among the attendees and discussed throughout the AGM.
Feedback and suggestions from the community were welcomed and will be taken into consideration in upcoming AWA planning days. His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios recognised and thanked the AWA Board members for their passion, dedication, and ongoing efforts since the Association’s establishment in October 2020.
AWA plans to continue hosting events, running programs, and assisting the community in the years ahead.
