‘Isolate 2 Congregate’ was the motto of the weekend as St Nicholas Punchbowl Youth Committee held an online day retreat on Saturday 11th September on the theme: ‘My Phone: My Frenemy’.
The retreat explored the positives and negatives associated with over usage of our phones and provided multiple orthodox resources to our youth and adult community to help encourage healthier usage of technology.
Over 40 attendees took part in the retreat which involved prayer, workshops, activities, trivia, spiritual readings, a choir session, and much more.
Attendees even received a special retreat pack delivered to their doors, full of goodies, an icon, candle, incense, bookmark, lunch, and more.
The day ended with an informative question and answer session.
