On Friday 14 May 2021 the Antiochian Welfare Association (AWA) held a Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Workshop at the Antiochian Youth Centre in Punchbowl NSW.
The workshop targeted young people aged between 16-30 years old. The workshop was facilitated by Headspace Bankstown and it’s aimed to help and assist young people to identify signs when somebody is not feeling great, how to feel better and how to get additional support. 21 young people attended the training and all were satisfied with it and had positive outcomes.
AWA will continue to organise more information sessions to benefit our society and the members of our community.
AWA would like to thank Headspace Bankstown for their support and assistance in providing such a great opportunity to our young people.
This session was supported and funded by Multicultural NSW.
