The Antiochian Orthodox Stewards (AOS) held their Anniversary Celebration on Friday 7th of August 2020 at St Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, Punchbowl, under the Patronage and in the presence of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios.
The mission of the AOS is to preserve, practice, and proclaim the Orthodox Christian faith in order to Glorify God through the Stewardship Program.
The evening, although unlike previous years, was crowned with a Paraklesis Service followed by a ceremony of the achievement of AOS in the presence of Rev. Fr. Romanos Albaba, the Spiritual Director of AOS, Rev. Fr. John El Karaan. It was an opportunity to support and encourage each other during this tough time and provide an insight into the plans for the upcoming year.
The celebration showcased existing Stewards renewing their pledges in the presence of His Eminence Basilios, members of the clergy, family and friends, as well as new Stewards being officially welcomed into the Program and being presented with their Badges and some moral gifts by His Eminence Basilios.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all the families who attended and supported not only throughout the evening but also throughout the whole year and those who could not make it however still continue to show constant support.
