On the 20th of February, His Excellency the Consul General of Lebanon Mr. Charbel Macaron, accompanied by the newly appointed Consul Mr. Raymond El Chamlati, visited the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese Headquarters in Illawong. The purpose of the visit was to introduce Mr. Raymond El Chamlati to His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios, who warmly congratulated the new consul on his appointment. The three of them discussed many different topics. His Eminence prayed that there will be a peaceful end to the situation in Lebanon and that God will enlighten the leaders of Lebanon to work in the best interest of the country and its people.
