The Parish Council of St. George Cathedral, Redfern, was blessed by the presence of His Eminence, Metropolitan Basilios, who attended their monthly meeting.
It was very interesting to hear Sayedna’s vision for the future of the Archdiocese in general and the Cathedral in particular. Many questions were raised concerning various issues and discussion took place in an ambience of love and care for the common good of the Church.
His Eminence’s insight, along with his considered vision, left a positive and indelible mark on the hearts of those in attendance. Council members were further enlightened and encouraged by the implementation of key policies to safeguard and guide the general Archdiocese for the glory of God and a successful future.
The evening concluded by an Agape meal prepared by the Ladies Guild of St. George.
