On Tuesday the 2nd of July, His Eminence, Metropolitan Myron, of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of New Zealand visited His Eminence, Metropolitan Basilios, at the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese.
It was a great opportunity for the two hierarchs to meet each other and to discuss different topics related to the Orthodox Church and the missionary work in New Zealand and the surrounding islands. Metropolitan Basilios was very impressed with the hard work and dedication of Metropolitan Myron, continuing the missionary work of the retired Metropolitan Amphilochios. It was a blessing for our archdiocese and a pleasure for the two brother hierarchs to meet in a fraternal spirit.
