On Friday 31 May 2019 The Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese (AOA) held a sebhiyeh (morning coffee) at the parish of the Dormition, Mount Pritchard, as part of Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS) Project to consulate with newly arrived people to Australia.

More than 100 people attended sebhiyeh and discussion was held to see what the issues they are facing in their new home, Australia. The major issues were: employment, language, bills, accommodation (rent), driving lessons and immigration. After this consultation, people had a nice atmosphere by meeting and greeting others followed by lunch.

AOA, through SETS project, will continue meeting with people and organises more activity and courses. AOA will work closely with the consortium to achieve all aims and objectives of the SETS project.
