On the evening of Sunday 12 May 2019, the second Sunday after Pascha, the Archdiocese celebrated Divine Liturgy for the Sunday of the Myrrh Bearing Women.
His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios presided over Divine Liturgy at Sts Michael and Gabriel Church in Ryde, together with all the Clergy of the Archdiocese. Many of the faithful were also in attendance. Following the service, all come together for an evening meal and fellowship. It was truly a blessing to be able to spend time with our brothers and sister from all parishes in the Archdiocese.
As it was also Mother’s Day, we took this occasion to celebrate our mothers who always work tirelessly both in their private life and church life. All mother present came together for a special thanks and cake cutting.
