This was the processional scene witnessed by a multitude of believers, as His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios, preceded by the clergy of NSW, entered the St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church in Punchbowl to celebrate the Agape Vespers (Vespers of Love) on Pascha evening – Sunday 28th April.
This Vespers Services, characterised by the reading of the Holy Gospel in multiple languages, is a continuation of the celebration of Pascha and Christ’s appearance to the apostles and to the world.
Following the concelebration, His Eminence received Paschal greetings in the church hall from the parish council members, parishioners, and youth from across the Archdiocese.
