“Do now establish it upon a firm rock”
On Saturday the 13th of April 2019, a prayer of laying the foundation stones for the soon to be built the Archdiocese Education and Youth Centre, were laid and blessed by H.E Metropolitan Basilios.
A short prayer was read, beseeching the Lord to offer His grace upon this new dwelling, bricks were laid down in the form of a Cross and Holy Water was sprinkled over the foundation stones and the surrounding site. The faithful chanted the Troparion for the Cross
“Save, O Lord your people and bless your inheritance, granting unto the faithful, victory over adversaries and by the power of your cross, do you preserve your commonwealth”.
