Background
Subdeacon Michel Nahas, son of Boutros and Samira Nahas. Born on the 30th of October 1989 in Kousba, Lebanon. Came to Australia in 1992.
Completed his High School Certificate in 2007. As part of his higher education, he completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science in 2010, a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education and a Graduate Certificate in Religious Education in 2011 from the Australian Catholic University.
Furthermore, in 2016 he completed a Bachelor in Theology from St Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Theological College.
In 2018 on the 22nd Day of July he married Catherine. He became a subdeacon by H.E. Metropolitan Basilios in February 2018.
Michel is an active member of St Nicholas youth and Sunday school teachers and members in the archdiocese’s choir.
