Under the patronage of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios, and with the help of the Archdiocese Welfare Committee, held a picnic for the Christian newcomers in Merrylands Park on December 27th, 2018.
The Church, as a spiritual mother, was called to look after her children through the building of a pastoral relationship. A banquet of love, along with light-hearted entertainment, we pray that a message was sent to our beloved newcomers that the Church is their life. We pray that they received a sense of hope and direction along a path towards a place that can be asked to satisfy their material and spiritual needs.
