On His First Pastoral Visit, coinciding with the Feast of the Holy and Glorious Prophet Elijah, His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios attended St Elias parish in Adelaide, SA.
It was a blessed and momentous day for the members of the parish as they were able to meet with His Eminence; with special attention to the youth and the Sunday school leaders. His Eminence presided over Sunday Divine Liturgy, followed by the blessing of the newly refurbished hall and a meal of agape with all the parishioners.
His Eminence congratulated the parish on their tireless efforts of progress and encouraged the faithful to love God and the Church with the same zeal as the Prophet Elias, in order to build a greater future.
