1 ORDINATION
On Sunday 12th December 2004, at 10.00 am, His Eminence Metropolitan Paul, ordained Bert Gerges to the order of Deacon at St Mary, Mays Hill, NSW.
The new Deacon was assigned to assist the priest of St Mary’s.
2 CHRISTMAS 2004
All Antiochian Archdiocesan churches following the New Calendar will celebrate - Christmas Vesperal Liturgy on Friday, 24th December at 8:00 pm
- Christmas Day Divine Liturgy on Saturday 25th December, at 10:00 am
On Sunday 26th December, services will be held as usual (10-10:30 am) in all these churches.
All Antiochian Archdiocesan churches following the Old Calendar will celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord on Friday 7th January 2005 at 9am. They will celebrate Divine Liturgy on Sunday 9th January 2005 as usual.
His Eminence will celebrate Christmas service on Friday 24th at St Mary Church, Mays Hill, NSW, at 8.00 pm .
Christmas Liturgy for the Youth of Sydney will be celebrated in English by Archimandrite Father Nabil on Friday 24th December at St Nicholas Punchbowl, NSW, at 10.30 pm.
His Eminence Paul will have the Archdiocesan Chancery at Illawong open for all well wishers on Saturday 25th December from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm.
His Eminence takes the opportunity of our celebration of the Divine Birth to extend his heartfelt good wishes to all the people of these great countries of Australia and New Zealand.

The church of Saint Paul, 32-34 Plunkett Road, Dandenong, Victoria, is to be consecrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Paul, on Sunday 13 February 2005.
