01  Friday 04 May 2007 - Saint Elias Wollongong Silver Anniversary Function

Saint Elias parish’s annual function this year will commemorate the Silver Anniversary of the parish. The function will be held on Friday 4 May at Stars Palace Reception Lounge, 15 Railway Pde, Fairfield.

Tickets are $50 and include mezza, dinner, beer, wine, soft drinks and entertainment.

The parish of Saint Elias travel up to Sydney for their annual function, in order to allow all our Churches to come together and to make it easier for Sydney-siders to attend. All are encouraged to support this function.

02 Saturday 05 May and Sunday 06 May 2007 - Saint George Day Service

Saint George Cathedral Redfern, Metro Sydney, will be celebrating Saint George Day the whole weekend.

The evening of Saturday 5 May all Sydney clergy have been invited to concelebrate.

On Sunday morning on the feast day there will be further prayers. Everyone is welcome to attend.

03  Monday 07 May 2007 - References to Patriarchate deleted

By email dated 07 May 2007, His Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop Paul Saliba confirmed his wish for all references to the Patriarchate of Antioch [ including pictures of the Patriarchate and Patriarchal Cathedral ], to be removed from the Australian Antiochian website.  His Eminence also directed that the Contact Us section be deleted.

In compliance with His Eminence's direction, those items have been removed from this website.

They can now be found at this site, which is completely separate from the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia and New Zealand and from His Eminence Metropolitan Archbishop Paul Saliba.

This year's Saint Michael Sylvania Mothers Day Function will be held at the Vaudeville Reception Lounge, 178 The River Road, Revesby.

05  Friday 18 May 2007 - Good Shepherd Parish Visit to Mirboo North

On Friday 18 May 2007, Good Shepherd Parish at Clayton Metro Melbourne, plans to visit the Holy Forty Martyrs, Mirboo North, country parish in South Gippsland.

There will be Divine Liturgy on Friday evening at 7.00pm, using the St Andrew’s Church building.

06  Friday 25 May 2007 - Saint Nicholas Punchbowl - Fellowship Night

Youth of Saint Nicholas Punchbowl will be holding a Karoake Night this day.

07  Saturday 26 May 2007 - Saint Mary May's Hill Annual Youth Function

This year's function will be held at the New Westella, Lidcombe. Tickets are $60 donation and include mezza, dinner, dessert, beer, wine and soft drinks – and entertainment of course.
