Selection Criteria

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and community development experience
• Ability to understand the issues affecting Arab Australian youth and their families
• Knowledge and experience in dealing with issues affecting children and their families.
• Demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with a diverse range of individuals and/or organisations
• High level of written and oral communication, planning and organisational skills, including the ability to prepare reports and correspondence
• Ability to monitor and evaluate program effectiveness
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Sound knowledge of government and non-government networks, programs and services
• Demonstrated positive values of integrity, reliability and professionalism consistent with Orthocare’s principles and policies
• Computer literacy
• Current NSW drivers licence

Salary and Employment Conditions:  SACS Award Grade 4 Year 3

This is a 6 month contract funded by the NSW Department of Community Services. This position will require a ‘Working with Children’ check.
