Orthodox Christian bible study is a consultation with Jesus Christ Himself, and the Church of His Apostles. 

It is an understanding based upon 2000 years of experience. 

The Orthodox Church has manifested the scriptures in its Hymns, Liturgical Lectionary, Divine Liturgies and Services, Bible Studies, Sacramental Theology, Patristic Commentaries, Icons, Lives of the Saints, Dogmatic Statements, at Ecumenical Church Councils, and especially in its loving care for all people in and around it.
