Fund Raising BBQ for the suffering in Lebanon at Saint Elias

All money are going towards the people that are suffering in Lebanon. 20th August at Saint Elias Church in Wollongong.
Everyone is invited to attend and help raise some money to give to the people in Lebanon that are suffering from the war. BBQ will be after the morning service.

St Nicholas - “ BBQ FUNDRAISER AND PRAYER FOR THE PEOPLE OF LEBANON ” - Sunday 27th August

St Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church Punchbowl is holding a BBQ/ fundraiser for Christians to get together in the name of peace.
Date: SUNDAY 27/08/06
Time: 9.30am - 11.30am Devine Liturgy
11.30am - Midday - Prayer Service for the civilians of Lebanon
Midday - BBQ and Presentation
Location Details: St NICHOLAS PARISH & CHURCH HALL

All money raised and all donations will go directly towards helping aid civilians and victims of this war.
The Orthodox Church in the south and various other affected parts of Lebanon have contacted us for support, and I hope all of us feel the need to support our fellow brethren at this time in need.

There will be NO ENGLISH LITURGY at 6PM on 27/08/06 at Saint Nicholas Church, will gather as one to support this cause.

Every Friday Night - Stop and Think Sessions

Stop and Think Sessions are held at St George Cathedral These are Spiritual discussions and Bible Studies that Father Nabil hosts. Kick off at 7:30pm every Friday.

Every Saturday Night - Vespers and Bible Study in English

Great Vespers starts 6:30pm, served in English every Saturday night at Saints Michael and Gabriel Parish at West Ryde Community Centre, 1A Station Street, West Ryde, (two doors down from Victoria Road).
Fellowship follows Great Vespers.
Then about 7.30pm Questions and Answers, and Bible study, commences. Led by Subdeacon Chris.
Finishes at 8.30pm sharp.
All welcome, especially younger people and Christians and inquirers of other varieties.

Byzantine Music Class - Wednesday Nights at Old Archdiocesan Headquarters

The Antiochian Archdiocese will open a new school in Byzantine Music at 7pm at the old Archdiocesan Headquarters, 8 Henry Street, Punchbowl.
